The Kings couldn’t beat the 76ers, the Bulls lost in Charlotte and a resting Warriors team lost in Denver. It was another crazy night of NBA action as we went just 5-4 on the night (562-292 on the year). We actually got the Nuggets over the Warriors right, but the Kings, Bulls and Clippers burned us pretty good.
It’s onward and upward, though, as Saturday night brings more NBA betting opportunities despite things calming down a bit with a six-game slate. There’s still plenty to get excited about, so let’s dive into tonight’s NBA picks:
Celtics @ Pacers
Evan Turner took over last night and has helped the Celtics surprise with three straight wins, but they’ve got nothing on and Indiana squad that has stolen seven straight victories. The Pacers get Roy Hibbert back tonight and have been especially tough on their home floor.
Pick: Pacers 104, Celtics 97
Kings @ Wizards
DeMarcus Cousins went off last night and Sacramento still couldn’t buy a win, while Sac-town visits D.C. tonight with Rudy Gay unlikely to suit up. It’s all on Boogie as the Kings go up against a Wiz team that has won two in a row and generally is solid at home.
Pick: Wiz 104, Kings 102
Nets @ 76ers
Brooklyn is in a free fall with five straight losses, so getting the Sixers tonight should feel like perfect timing. That’ll be the hope, at least.
Pick: Nets 105, Sixers 101
Bucks @ Grizzlies
Milwaukee has struggled ever since trading for Michael Carter-Williams, as they head into Memphis as losers of seven of their last 10. The Grizzlies haven’t been much better during that same span (4-6), but they’re the better team and are at home.
Pick: Grizz 103, Bucks 99
Pistons @ Jazz
Detroit can’t catch a break, as they’ve lost a disgusting nine games in a row. With Gordon Hayward and Rudy Gobert in the lineup, it’s hard to see them figuring things out on the road in Utah.
Pick: Jazz 101, Pistons 94
Knicks @ Warriors
Golden State lost last night after resting most of their key players. Now they’re at home against the Knicks. Sorry, Knicks fans.
Pick: Warriors 114, Knicks 96
