The Ragin’ Cajuns won 10 games this season and finished as a finalist in the Sun Belt Conference after losing to Appalachian State in the conference title game. This offensive-minded team is lead by QB Levi Lewis and is one of the most prolific offenses in the country. The RedHawks won the MAC-East Division with an 8-5 record and they went on to win the MAC Conference championship game. Miami-OH is one of the good defensive teams this season, ranking in the Top 40 in pass defense.

Miami-OH’s pass defense ranks in the Top 40 in the nation and third-best in the conference. However, their offense isn’t as good and that’s where they have struggled. This is the Redhawks’ first winning season since 2010 and their third bowl game appearance during that period.

I think the difference here is Louisiana-Lafayette’s offense and that difference is going to be huge. Miami has lost 40 consecutive games as double-digit underdogs and Louisiana is 6-0 SU in their last six games as betting favorites. I like the Ragin’ Cajuns to win this game because of their offense.

Louisiana is 9-2 ATS when picking up more than 450 total yards in their previous game. This is a big spread but I have no doubt the Cajuns will cover.
