The Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club was founded in 1901. The Seagulls played their early years in the Southern League before their election to the Football League in 1920. Between 1979 to 1983, they enjoyed success while playing in the First Division and played for the 1983 FA Cup Final. However, this club sank to the 4th division during the 1990s. Who Wins?

The defending champions are 1-1-0 so far this season with a 5-0 win over West Ham United and a 2-2 draw against Tottenham in their second meeting. Manchester City’s main offensive weapons have been impressive early on. Raheem Sterling has four goals already while Sergio Aguero has two in two games played. Manchester City still has a game with Bournemouth on the 25th before facing Brighton.

Interestingly Brighton is also 1-1-0 on the season as they beat Watford 3-0 and drew with West Ham 1-1. Brighton faces Southampton on the 24th before facing the champs in this game. I like how Brighton has started the season and I think they are going to make a fight out of this early on. However, Manchester City’s talent is overwhelming and I won’t be surprised if this is a walk in the park for them. Prediction: Manchester City
