The Orlando Magic and Miami Heat continue the battle for the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference on Tuesday Night at the American Airlines Arena in Miami.
The Orlando Magic entered Monday’s game with the Philadelphia 76ers having won four games in a row. Before the start of Monday’s games, the Magic trailed the Miami Heat by just one game and lead the Charlotte Hornets by also one game for the last playoff ticket in the East. The Magic are aiming to make the playoffs for the first time in seven seasons.

The Heat bounced back from a 29-point loss to the Milwaukee Bucks on Friday night with a 113-108 victory over the Washington Wizards. The win enabled the Heat to keep solo 8th place in the Eastern Conference. Miami now returns home after going 3-1 during a crucial road trip.

Orlando is 6-4 SU in their last 10 games played. The Magic are 1-4 SU in their last five games on the road. Miami is 7-3 SU in their last 10 games played. The Heat are 3-2 SU in their last five games played at home. Head to head, the Magic are 7-3 SU in their last 10 games against the Heat.
These two teams are battling it out for the final playoff spot in the East and need this win as badly as the other does. Comparing both teams though, Miami is the more experienced team and has better chemistry. The Magic are also playing on the second of back to back games and doing so on the road where they are just 13-22 SU. I’ll roll with the home team here. I’m picking the Miami Heat to beat the Orlando Magic on 3/26/19.
The Magic are 4-6 ATS in their last 10 games played. Orlando is 1-4 ATS in their last five games on the road. The Heat are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games played. Miami is 3-2 ATS in their last five games played at home. Head to head the Magic are 7-3 in their last 10 meetings against the Heat.

Orlando is 3-1-1 ATS in their last five games when playing on zero days rest, 1-4 ATS in their last five Tuesday games and 0-4 ATS in their last four road games. Miami is 4-0 ATS in their last four games against opponents with a losing SU record, 4-0 ATS in their last four home games against an opponent with a losing road record and 4-1 ATS in their last five games overall. The Heat have played really well, probably their best basketball of the season in their last five games. Orlando has done well in back to back games but the Heat need this game as much as the Magic do. This should be a good one and I’ll roll with the home team here. Prediction: Heat -5.5
The total has gone under in seven out of the last 10 games played by the Magic. Orlando has seen the total go under in four out of their last five games on the road. The total has gone over in three out of the last four games played by the Heat. The under is 3-2 in Miami’s last five games at home. Head to head, the over is 6-4 in the last 10 games between these two teams.

Odds from betonline.ag as of 3/26/19
The total has gone over in eight out of the last 11 games of the Magic when playing on zero days rest. The over is 18-7-1 in the Heat’s last 26 games against a team with a winning percentage below .400 and 10-4 in their last 14 games against Southeast Division teams. I think Orlando’s defensive intensity takes a drop in the second of back to back games. Prediction: Over 205
