The Timberwolves are making a splash even with Karl Anthony-Towns out since late December. Minnesota has won five out of their last seven games played and they are in 7th place in the Western Conference team standings, just one-half game from the 5th-seeded Dallas Mavericks.

Denver Nuggets SU trends:
Denver traveled to Minnesota last weekend without its top players and the Timberwolves ended up blowing out the Nuggets by 30 points last Sunday. Now, it’s Minnesota’s turn to head to Denver and you can bet that the Nuggets’ will have their top players back on Tuesday.
While Coach Mike Malone did not have Nikola Jokic, Jamal Murray, and Aaron Gordon last Sunday, the three aren’t out due to injury. It just so happened that the Nuggets played on Saturday and only had 22 hours of rest before playing the Wolves. Had that been a playoff game, you bet the three would have played. But considering we’re still in early February, Denver didn’t think it would be a good gamble to risk their key players on back-to-back nights.
The Nuggets will be without Kentavious Caldwell-Pope who suffered an ankle sprain against the Hawks last Saturday. Bones Hyland has not seen action in Denver’s last three games played as he is believed to be a trade asset.
Meanwhile, the Timberwolves will be without All-Star center Karl-Anthony Towns on Tuesday. Towns has missed action since late December with a calf injury. Despite Towns’ absence, the Wolves are still in 7th place in the latest Western Conference team standings.
Kyle Anderson has missed the team’s last two games with back spasms and is uncertain to play on Tuesday. Austin Rivers will also not suit up for Denver as he is still serving a three-game suspension after his involvement in an on-court altercation against the Orlando Magic last Friday.
This marks the 4th and final meeting between these two Northwest Division rivals this season and the home team has won in each of their first three games played this season.
For as long as Jokic, Murray, and Gordon play on Tuesday, the Nuggets should be fine against a T-wolves team without KAT.
Prediction: Denver Nuggets
The Timberwolves are 6-0 ATS in their last 6 games played against the Nuggets. Minnesota is also 24-6 ATS in their last 30 games played in Denver.

The Timberwolves have dominated the Nuggets in their recent ATS battles, going 24-6 ATS over their last 30 games including 6-0 ATS in their last six meetings.
However, the Nuggets have been really well this season. They have the best record in the Western Conference and are 19-10 ATS at home, including 3-0 ATS in their last three home games. Denver is also getting Jokic, Murray, and Gordon back on Tuesday. The Nuggets are also looking for payback after Sunday’s loss.
Given Sunday’s loss is still a fresh wound, the Nuggets should bounce back strong.
Prediction: Nuggets -7.5
The over is 4-1-1 in the last six games played between these two teams. The total has gone over in four out of their last five meetings in Denver.

These teams combined for 226 points last Sunday even with Denver playing minus 4 key players. With Jokic, Murray, and Gordon back, expect the Nuggets to score more points on Tuesday. Minnesota has scored 119 or more points in each of their last three games played.
Denver scored 122 or more points in three straight games before putting up just 98 last Sunday. With Jokic back, the Nuggets’ offense should be firing from all cylinders, especially after losing to this same team by 30 points last Sunday.
