Major League preseason action continues on Tuesday as the teams continue to prepare for the start of the new baseball season. The 2019 MLB season begins on March 20th with a series of games in Japan while the 30 teams will open the season traditionally on March 28th.

The Oakland Athletics are currently in a three-way tie for third place in the Cactus League with their 10-7 record. The A’s have won three games in a row and are 8-2 SU in their last 10 games played. Among the Top 10 teams in the league, only Oakland has a minus run difference ( runs scored – runs allowed ) of -18 and they are the only team in the Top 10 in the standings to have a negative run difference.

The Milwaukee Brewers are 9-8 on the season and are two games behind the Cactus League leaders Padres. Milwaukee enters this games having won seven out of their last 10 games and they have a run difference of +4.
Milwaukee’s top offensive producer is currently Hernan Perez who leads the team with three homers and nine RBIs. Keston Hiura is batting .240 and has two home runs and seven RBIs as well. Meanwhile, Orlando Arcia has six RBIs on six hits and Travis Shaw three home runs on six hits.

The San Francisco Giants are second to the last in the Cactus League standings with their 5-10 record. They are five games behind the leaders and they have won just twice in their last nine games played. San Francisco’s run difference of -23 is currently the worst in the Cactus League.
