The Yankees should not have much trouble winning this game. From a pitching match-up, Cortes was one of the best starters in the majors last season with a 12-4 record and an ERA of 2.44 in 28 starts. He has been able to build on that strong campaign and has only allowed three combined runs in two appearances with two wins.

 The Yankees also have one of the most explosive lineups in the majors and Cortes should get the run support he needs to win this game. New York also has 12 stolen bases this year as compared to only two for the Twins. That should be another key to winning this game.

Both these teams have shown the ability to put up runs this season. The Twins lineup can just dominate games while the Yankees can score at a great rate as well. New York is tied for 4th with 20 home runs on the season while the Twins are 15th with 14.
